Plugging in earphones; silencing raising voices

Hey there! I have not posted in a while, I have been so busy with school, so do forgive me *big pleading eyes*
Al's note: Hey silent readers of my blog! Thanks for following my news even though I do not know your identity, when I wrote this blogpost my parents were quarrelling so I dunno if this is apt to post now... But I decided to post this since I had forgotten about this post and left it as draft in September. Might as well get this over and done with. I'm sure everyone experiences this at some point of your life, whether your parents are quarrelling, or your siblings and their spouses, or even you and your other half.
Recently, my parents have been quarrelling a lot... I do know that every marriage has its
rocky point at some periods of time, every couple disagrees and argues with one another many a times. What I don't understand is why they are finding faults in each other, and
pinpointing minute details that they dislike of each other. They pick up a fight over small things, like newspapers for example.
Won't go into further details; it
pains me so so much. :'(
But the argument always begins like this:
Mum: You know you are always doing this.
Dad: (immediately gets offended, pupils turn
greyishly silver): What!? Nothing wrong! You also... Your family..
The fight gets intensive over a few minutes, their voice rise quickly. In a matter of minutes, or seconds even, the whole neighbourhood can hear their sharp
knife-like words, slitting each others' throats (well, figuratively I mean). And I get really worried everytime, they may just separate. D:
I know they love me, but it always occurred to me: They don't love each other as much...
I shall not dwell on this subject anymore, I'll just be aching everyone, especially my heart
Before I end off, I would like to share this verse. Urm.. not exactly a verse but a simple yet meaningful sentence from the Bible.
'God promises a safe landing, not a calm passage.'
Yupz, time to think of it :-)
With love <3 ,
Al
P.S. it would be lovely if any of you could comment on the posts in my blog if they relate to you.
