I barely had time to clear my emails these couple of months. So today, I had some time, maybe just 15 minutes, but still better than nothing. Quite a few emails were from my granny, mostly she forwarded
health related stuff to me. I found many interesting and so apt to today's world and our generation.
I'll cover two emails/ health issues in this post.
1. Laptop on the bed (More important of the two; emphasis: Bold, Underline, Highlight)
Do NOT put your laptop on your bed or other uneven surfaces!
Uneven surface of the bed sheet blocks the air intake vent below the CPU fan. When the
laptop is placed on a flat surface i.e. on desk/table, there is a gap between the desk surface and the base of the casing to allow air to flow/suck in through the air intake vent by the CPU fan to cool
the CPU. The person passed away of carbon monoxide (CO). I know many of us use our
laptop in bed, so I thought I should share this important message. Let us all decide and make it a practice not to do that. Risk is real. Let us make it a rule not to use
laptop in bed or put computer on bed with blankets and pillows around.
Broadcast this message & you may save others!!
