My parents love me so much - #1 Sufficient Sleep is important

Today, everyone is in school. People in my class are taking 3 tests, all of which are graded. Here, I am staying at home as I have eye allergies. In the morning, around 6.45 am, I woke up to find my left eye red and watery. It has been happening on and off the past week. I was so afraid it would be conjunctivitis as I had it earlier this year (around 3 weeks ago). Since last week (Tuesday 22nd Jan), my left eye had always been red. When I went to school, people would stare and comment. But it got worst on Monday (28th Jan). I was rushing my LA project around 1 a.m. Hence, I lacked alot of sleep. And in the morning around 7am, my eyes were really really red. No amount of ice packs or tear drops could remove the redness. So I had to deal with it. Through a long school day, through choir practice. I looked so scary. One eye was really white (my normal right eye) the other was bloodshot. Say, scary. And today, I decided I couldn't go to school. If my left eye kept turning red, itchy and watery. Something is definitely wrong. So my parents sent me to the national eye centre. My mum was supposed to go for her own eye check up at another hospital (she caught my conjunctivitis bug the other time, but now it's okay, she just needs the 'OK' from the docs), but she had to cancel it last minute because of me. And my dad was late for work. My mum also took leave from work. I waited around 2 hours, because I had walked in to the hospital without prior appointment. A while later, around 11 am, I was called into the evaluation room to do eye vision checks. My right eye could read almost everything accurately; my left eye, sigh. I read a huge 'O' as 'C' then 'G' because my left eye vision was really blurry. I read alot of numbers wrongly as I was told by my mum. Then I did eye pressure checks. One eye at a time. As I rested my chin on the chin rest, the nurse would ask me to leave my eyes wide open, and spray and puff of air. Is spray the right word? It happened so fast, I had no time to react, that I jerked violently. As I closed my eyes involuntarily due to shock, and my abrupt jerks, the nurse couldn't get my eye pressure readings. Hence, I had to wait for the docs to do the pressure readings....

(To be continued: in the doctor's consultation room and so on...)

Pieces Of Me
Me and my simple self

I am Ally and this is my blog. In this little online diary, I talk about my daily life. I'm still in high school. So not much stuff happens, but, you know, same old same old in all teenagers' life. I will try to post some motivational stuff to encourage fellow teens feeling unsure of themselves. So feel free to read, comment or subscribe to all my ramblings of my wonderful life.
